Description
Viscol Red uses a blend of solvents and surfactants to remain water soluble. This degreaser is designed to dissolve and loosen oil and grease deposits while allowing easy removal with a water rinse.
For this reason, operators use this water based degreaser where surface sensitivity is important. As a result, operators commonly use Viscol Red on vehicle engines and components where paint or surface coatings may be affected by harsher cleaners.
Water based degreaser for sensitive applications
Viscol Red is intended for use on engines and other applications that are sensitive to degradation, such as painted surfaces. The formulation provides effective solvent action while remaining suitable for controlled cleaning tasks.
Apply the water based degreaser by brush or spray. Then allow approximately five minutes for the product to react with grease and dirt. After the reaction time, rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water to remove residues.
Dilute with water to suit application.
Heavy dirt – Dilution Ratio 10:1
Light dirt – Dilution Ratio 30:1
